Saturday we celebrated Christmas with the Jonker's. The kids were VERY excited!! They LOVE to play with their cousins. Often the play 'poor kids' when they're at Grandma's. It's kind of funny. The kids will sometimes put on a whole little play for us pretending they're poor and they're trying to scrape together food for supper. (Hey Jason, remind you of our little orphanage game! ;0)
Lauren didn't at ALL like her ballerina jewellery box!! ;0) In case you're wondering why Miss Lauren is wearing a tank top, it's because she said she thought maybe they would pretend they were in Mexico. I think she was secretly hoping she could sneak into Uncle Norm and Aunt Shirley's suitcase for their trip this week!
After dinner Grandpa read the kids the Christmas stories and had quite the theological discussions later complete with praying for friends that don't know Jesus and about how Satan became Satan! Phew! Thanks for managing those talks so well, Dad!
What get together with the Jonker's would be complete without a few board games!?! A little pool at the pool table and then we played some Blokus and Ticket to Ride.
Thanks for a great Christmas, Mom and Dad. Dinner was wonderful, Mom as were all the Dutch yummies! Your generosity with gifts for us and the kids is once again MUCH appreciated!

Blokus? I think I need to be taught a new game! Speed Uno was fun too, I am wanting to play that again soon.
