This morning when I woke up my parents told me to go back to bed because school was cancelled. I really wanted to go to school because we were going to have a party for Martin Luther's birthday. It was going to be really fun. I guess we'll have it tomorrow. My mom had her course today so my dad stayed home with us. We were going to go to Aunt Derrien's but then my dad changed his mind because me and Lauren and Rachel were fighting. We got along better later today. This afternoon we played house but I got a little sick of it. We always play house. When my mom got back I thought maybe I could take some paper and spy on Lauren and Megan S. We had a yummy supper (noodles and ham!) and after that we played Trivial Pursuit for kids. My mom and dad hardly knew the answers! Like questions about Raven and Bratz. We knew those a whole lot better because we watch them sometimes.

You guys were lucky to have a snow day. We live further north and we all still had school. Even me because I work at a school. I hope we have a snow day tomorrow. I'm sure it was nice having your dad home for an extra long weekend too. Maybe when your mom is doing her course during March break you will have to come for a visit and play with my kids.

It is nice to have a snow day eh? If you want to have lots of snow days you should move to Wingham. We have had about 4 snow days already this year and we haven't had a lot of snow. Usually there are more snow days than that. I'm glad to hear that you had a good day. I bet your Daddy was happy to have a snow day too. :0)

I enjoyed reading your posting. I used to play school a lot when I was a kid, I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up, but that didn't happen.Another idea is playing restaurant, and also hospital, that can be a lot of fun. I have a game called Disney Trivia, have you ever played that? I laughed at Uncle Jay's comment,snow day's are a teacher's best friend. I like snow days too, I drive kids to school in my van.

Yeah, snow days are lots of fun.
But you know what we don't get enough of? Sun days. (I mean sun as in the giant thing in the sky, not the 7th day when God rested....)
Seriously, we should have Sun Days where everything is cancelled because of BEAUTIFUL weather, and then instead of staying inside your house, everybody would go to the beach.....
