Just wanted to wish everyone (a few days late) a Happy New Year! We spent a lovely evening with Jen, Mark, Jeff, Annemarie, Brad, and Derrien playing Trivial Pursuit (80's) and Wii. Good fun! Couldn't have thought of a better way to ring in 2007 then with good friends!
As the new year has arrived it's a time that personally I use a little bit like Thanksgiving. A great reminder to remember how thankful I am for the blessings God has given us. Loving friends and family is a biggie! When we all get together at Christmas and despite the fact that God has made us all very different we're still families that have a shared faith and an attitude of love and acceptance. That's way cool.
Health. In a year with friends going through chemo and radiation I'm thankful that I have my health.
Dave and the girls. Despite how much they can drive me nuts!! :0) Ok, and sometimes vice versa. They really are a joy. The girls make us laugh and bring a real joy to our home. And Dave....well, he looks like George Clooney AND he cleans TOILETS!!!!!!!! Who wouldn't be thankful for that!!! :0) We've officially spent more than half of our lives together (16 yrs!)! And it just keeps getting better!
Faith. Again, in a year of watching friends get through cancer I'm thankful for my faith. It's a relationship I wouldn't trade for anything!
2007. I can't wait to see how God grows me!
Well, I finally got to going through the loads of Christmas crafts that the kids came home with from school and I found this Christmas card that Lauren had made for Dave and I. Too cute! I hope you can make out her writing!

Uncle Jason still has a special place in Lolo's heart. Guess she'll always be his 'chicken-baby'!

Here's a pic we got back from my Remax work party. The owner hires a photographer to take pictures of all of the couples as you enter for the dinner. It's nice cuz we don't always get all spiffed up. Yep, my hubby's still a hottie! (He'll hate that I put that on the blog! :0)
Well, I'm off to bed. I had a busy day as the girls and I, along with Grandma W. went off to visit Auntie Jen and Brayden today. And we got to see Uncle Doug too for a few minutes. Highlight for the girls was that they got to sit in Uncle Doug's work car and see him all in dressed up in uniform.
Tomorrow I've got about 14 kids along with their moms coming for coffee! Wish me luck!!!!!

We had fun yesterday too Kris. I'll try to e-mail you those pictures. They look really cute. The kids look like true rebels.
