March Break

Well, another March break done. This one has been quite different than ones of the past....

I had class all week, 8:30-4:15 every day (including SATURDAY!). Yuck! The good news is that I did my exam on Saturday afternoon and felt good about it. Now the waiting begins and if all goes well I'll be a licensed realtor in just a few weeks! Wahoooo!

So, next logical question is....with me in school, and Dave working, what did we do with the kids?

We dropped off the kids in Barrie on Sunday, stopping in on Durwyn and Gloria and the boys first. (Man, those kids are cute!....we're working on wedding arrangement....figuring with our 3 girls and their 4 boys we should be able to work SOMETHING out!).
Anyways, then we had dinner with Kim and tucked the kids into bed and headed back to Waterloo. Wow. Is that strange! No kids!

The kids went swimming with Aunti Kim and the kids, did crafts at their local library, saw a Sleeping Beauty play, went to the theatre to see Charlotte's Web, and played! They had a great time. Not too sure they even wanted to come back home! The kids stayed up in Barrie until Thursday afternoon when Kim brought them back to Waterloo and spent some time with Grandma W.

Meanwhile, Dave and I were enjoying being kidless! We had decided to go out for dinner every night, figuring with not having to pay for a babysitter we may as well take advantage! After dinner I got my homework and studying done.

Thursday when the kids returned the house suddenly got a whole lot noisier! Friday, Auntie Jennifer came and babysat the kids for the day. They loved it! Time with Brayden, McD's playland and baking with Auntie Jen.

Last night we celebrated with the kids by heading over to Build-A-Bear. They had never done one for themselves and we were feeling especially generous. I think I had as much fun as they did! Then we headed over to the Kish's for dinner and a game of Puerto Rico. Good Times.

Today we skipped church. I know, I know....shocking! We slept in, had pancakes and then the girls put on a church service for us, complete with worship music, bible reading, and prayer. It was cute. It was nice to spend some time with the kids after a week of not really spending much time with them.

Tomorrow life gets back to normal.......I guess! As normal as it can get around here! :)

Thanks to Auntie Kim and Auntie Jennifer for helping out with the kids this week! If you ever want to buy a house in KW let me know...I'll give ya a good deal! ;0) (heh heh, there's a safe offer!).
